Hi,

I'm trying to get this weird flow working in Safari, it seems to work in everything else..
page1.html:
Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
	"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>
	<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>
	<title>popup</title>
	<script type="text/javascript" src="js/prototype.js"></script>
	<script type="text/javascript">
	function popup() {
	  $('fieldLoader').src = "page2.html";
	}
	</script>
</head>
<body>
<iframe src="javascript:false;" id="fieldLoader" style="display: none"></iframe>
<p><a onclick="popup()" href="#">Pop</a></p>
</body>
</html>
page2.html:
Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<script type="text/javascript">
window.open('popup.html', null, "height=300, width=450, scrollbars=yes, status=yes, toolbar=no, menubar=no, location=no");
</script>
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>
The bold line isn't getting executed
Is it a Safari thing that an Iframe cannot launch a new window?
Is there any way around it, without losing the iFrame alltogether?

Thanks,
