Error 403 on Wordpress blog. Blacklisted?

I have the following error on the dashboard of my WP blog. I'm curious to know if others have seen this? Apparently, I need to download a new version of the Bad Behavior plugin to fix this. But I wanted to make sure that this is legit and not some sort of prank/virus or whatever;

The Bad Behavior plugin tests to see if an IP is on a current blacklist. Go to Bad-Behavior/whitelist.inc.php and add you IP(s) to

$bb2_whitelist_ip_ranges = array( 

Note* it uses the CIDR format.

OK, and for those who are on dialup or otherwise have dynamic IP addresses? (Which is why I uninstalled Bad Behavior from my WordPress installations via FTP - I don't like getting locked out of my admin panel due to all the stupid and pointless false positives BB generates.)

Trying to control IPs is a impossible thing. There are other ways to deal with issues without accidentally banning people on the same IP whether they share a computer in a library or a common service such as AOL...sounds like this one has more problems than answers.

OMG. I finally get around to trying to fix this damn issue and now the freaking bad behavior plugin is blocking me from logging into my own admin by giving me the error message I initially posted in this thread.

Anyone know of a way around this? Unbelievable.

FTP in and remove the plugin by the, well, you know.
