    Any good traffic estimation tool?

Is there a good traffic estimation tool available that can give me exact search results of a particulr keyword per day?
I mean I want to know how many times a particular keyword is searched daily.

No one and nothing can tell you the exact search volume on Google or Yahoo these days but tools like WordTracker do a great job at guessing as well as suggesting alternative words, typos and other synonyms to use in your SEO/SEM campaigns.

Google and yahoo surely must know. Do they sell this information anywhere?

I use Google's webmaster tools to find top search queries and top click queries that are relevant to my content. Of course, they are based on already indexed content.

However, I've found the best tool to determine what keywords I want to target is asking myself what I would put into a search query to find my stuff so the webmaster tools help me see how right I am and what I need to do to tweak my content to gain better position.

I should also add -- Hitwise does a good job of tracking this information and regularly releases information on the top keywords in various niches based on the season (i.e. the top searched toys, valentines gifts, etc...). However, a subscription to hitwise is not a low cost item.

Google Analytics does track popular keywords as one of its features... it tracks basically anything you can think of, except for masked clicks... unfortunately the only way to track those is by adding a referrid to the masked link that sent it.

But Google Analytics only tracks data on your site. Not keyword volume in general.

The Keyword External Tool is definitely a cool tool to see the keywords frequent search. With this tool, you will know what people normally type to find an topic/content/site.

People have different thoughts of something they wanted to find so it is a good thing to add all the synonyms of your keywords.
