Not sure if these pages have a special name or not, but do search engines cache pages that are only linked in one direction on your site? In other words, if a page is designed for users to enter the site but they can't get back to that first page through the site navigation, is that frowned upon by search engines?
Sorry if there's lingo I don't know, but here's my dilemma. I have an automotive site that deals with all makes and models (30 or so). I was thinking about creating a separate page for each make and putting specific content on each one, which would have the same navigation/template as the rest of the site. But, there isn't any reason to link those individual pages from the main navigation/template because they don't really have any additional value to the customer. I'm trying to direct market the best I can!
Any comments?
Thanks,
Dan
