Smile Advertising ideas for a women community?

I would like to ask for your tips into monetizing a women community.

The site has already sold 10/10 links on the TextLinkAds system, I run adsense (but am displeased with it).

What other ad revenue systems would you be able to recommend?

    - Would like payment through paypal
    - they should accept international users (I'm from Romania)

Is there any network you would recommend?

    Thank you in advance

Well, what do you mean by "women community"?

I can't even imagine how many different ways someone could interpret that.

Without seeing the site, the one best suggestion I can make is to look at what your most successful competitors are doing, and see if that would work for you too.

Look at other such forums for ideas.

Besides, being a woman, shouldn't you know what kind of ads to place on a womans site? The appeal?

It's a nice looking site. One thing I'd point out, maybe try to build up the traffic and membership before trying to heavily monetize it. Forums can be harder to monetize than other kinds of websites too. I have a friend who also has a forum that's for women, hystersisters.com, you might want to have a look at how she's monetizing, she has some great ideas.

I would be careful using paypal. I've had bad experiences with payments being lost.

Now that I've finished laughing at Hostpitable's reply (I'm a traitor to my own gender...) how about making some custom icons and selling them to your forum posters. You know how some people pay up to £3 for a tacky ringtone? If you get some ultra cute icons (a pro designer would be best) you could charge a few pounds/dollars for each of them and take payment by paypal.

A few programs I can think of right off the bat would be weight loss ( always a big seller in the new year) work at home programs, health and beauty etc.

I haven't looked at your site at all, but joining affiliate programs that had these types of products and maybe even some product reviews on your site about such items, should certainly make you some money.
