Today I'm experiencing a very annoying problem with my network connection. I used to have ADSL connected with a modem only but recently went wireless and have had no problems since. However today when trying to surf persisently the network connections window keeps popping up.
Now there's no sense in me choosing a connection cos the connection listed is for use with my modem only. So I cancel and more often than not I get a page can't be found error. Even if a page successfully loads the network connections window still keeps popping up.
For info I allow Intel PROset Wireless to manage the wireless network. I've tried repairing and rebooting with no noticeable improvement.
Has anyone any idea what is causing this and how I can fix it?

Do you have the latest version of Intel PROset Wireless drivers and software? You can download them from Intel's site.
Also - try unplugging and rebooting your wireless router as that can cause some issues.
