you should be able to use DW3 built in program. otherwise download an FTP client or Telnet client to accomplish these actions.

Why don't you just telnet into your account? Just go to a prompt and type

    telnet mydomain.com

go to the desired directory and use chmod directly.

Relax, no one is accusing you of being dump....

Dreamweavers FTP function is fairly basic (in 2 anyhow), I doubt you can do mods with it....just my .02

Well, I know about Telnet, FTP :-))
That what Im doing, Im using FTP to chmod that stuff (Or if I need lots of files, then Im using telnet). If I need upload new .htm or something, then Im using DW.
I mean that Itll be easier to do all that stuff in One Application. (DW). FTP in DW look very cool, directory structure shows the way I like. And because DW is seems powerful-professional appl. and Im just wondering why I cant chmod my files. I can check all links, files, change directories in whole site with one click... but I cant chmod them :-)...
Maybe in DW 4 Ill get it ? :-))
    Thax all.

Maybe you should write a letter to Macromedia Customer support asking for the feature to be added in the next rendition of their product. Personally I use ws-ftp for uploads, downloads and chmod because its fast, has a great interface, integrates into Explorer for quick jobs and allows operations to be done on multiple files.
