    Question Mac javascript menu

It's been reported to me that the foldout javascript menu here http://clc.unhny.org/resources/index.phtml does not work correctly when view with IE for the mac. No one has tested it with netscape for the mac yet but it's possible it's also buggy. The script is from dhtmlcentral.com.

Has anyone on a mac used this script successfully? And does anyone know of another foldout/folding menu script that works in mac browsers?

I would post on the forums for dhtml central but posts are very often unanswered and I figure I would have a better chance of a response here, even if it's someone telling me it can't be done

I dont have a mac to test on either, but the menu below is far more simple, and about a third of the size of the one your using.
I'm also told it works on mac, but who knows.

    IE5.1/Mac:
The url in the first post has a mess of words to start with.
They *all* disappear when the cursor rolls over them leaving just an empty area.

    NN4.7/Mac
While the page is loading all the texts are visible.
Once the page has completely loaded only the menu parts that are meant to be visible remain visible. (All the sub-categories become hidden)

After that the menu works properly and folds out when you click on the menu items.

Odd, cause I thought the NN4.7 would be the harder one to please out of the two that I tried.

    Anywho... hope this helps

btw, the menu system in the 2nd post (Fly Swatter) is structurally different from that in the original post and is not a particular similar replacement.
It would also mean that zoordaan would have to slightly rethink the page's layout so the new style menu wouldn't interfere with the text in the centre area.
Fwiw, I think the structural idea of the first menu method is fine. It's just a matter of working out the bugs or finding/producing the same menu method with a differerent, more reliable script.

Thanks for info about NN. I've searched the web and downloaded a few menus that are similar and I'm going to see which one will not have problems on the mac.

I have high hopes for http://www.onaje.com/test/sampleNN2.html and http://www.onaje.com/test/sample2.html let me know if it's not working.

From what I've found out ie5 on the mac is very different from the pc version.
