I have tried a half dozen whois scripts, I have followed all the directions, on my server, whois is located at usr/bin/whois
but it still won't work. I know I am setting things correctly, I get the data page but no data. any thoughts?

Try using a whois script that connects to the whois server directly instead of using the whois program on your server.

i don't get it, i tried a shitload of whois scripts and Martin's is the only one that worked.

The only difference between his and thiers, was that the other scripts asked for the path to whois, his goes to network solutions.

oh well, thanx for the tools!
