    Need Help With Dreamweaver 8

    The font size when coding in Dreamweaver is too small. How do I change the size in "Design View" to make it bigger? I've found that you can change the code view in Preferences but it has no way to change the font size in Design View.

    You shouldn't rely on anything that design view displays as it doesn't always match to real world browsers so the only display you should rely on is that of a standard compliant browser (Firefox, Opera).

    You can then set the font size using CSS.

    Code:
    body {
      font-size: 73%;
    }
    For example.

    Hope that helps.

    No, I just want to change the font size so I don't go blind. This has nothing to do with what the user sees. This is purely for me. Just Me.

    You can increase the font size that displays your code under Edit > Preferences > Fonts and "code view". In design view you use the zoom tool to zoom in on an area.

    The design view should display a representation of what the user sees though and font sizes are usually fairly accurate so if you're struggling to see the text then chances are that your users will too

    As already mentioned though, you shouldn't really be using design view in Dreamweaver anyway as it's inaccurate.

    The zoom tool is piss poor. This program needs a way to increase font size the way it does with code view.

    So, in answer to your original question, it can't be done.
