I am a beginner at all this. I don't want to waste my money on books that sit. I want ones that are dynamic, exciting, compelling! Okay, even just one that will speak to me in layman's terms so I can actually produce something usable. Any suggestions?
When I am looking for a good book. I go to Barnes and Noble or Borders bookstore. They have cafe's and coffee shops inside. Then you pick up a few books and either order a cafe latte or an iced cappucino depending on the time of year. Then while your enjoying your coffee skim through the books to find the one(s) your looking for.
That is one thing Amazon.com will never be able to offer its customers.
