I have read all threads about textarea and didn't find one I could really execute in my scripts, so I'm here to ask you about a readonly textarea:
1)in IE works fine putting just disable or readonly;
2)in Netscape ==> ???. In one thread (I don't remember which one) someone said to to with javascript, using the onblur event (onclick="this.onblur") inside the textarea tag.

I read what http://www.w3c.org says about it: there are readonly AND disable, but it says nothing (that I have seen) about which browser implements what. So I thought these arguments are both for IE and Netscape. The problem is Netscape does not work?

What solution would you do to me: make two pages, recognizing which browser the client is? Or there is some way to do that with both browsers.

Thanks for while.
