Are Money making sites are true?

I'm reading atleast 10 advts daily on road here in UK or in the internet, emails...
like this
--------------------------------------------------
...Meet Mike.
He has done over 3,500 online surveys!
This is his FREE website about how to
Work at home and earn $40/hr as a survey-taker...
http://www.mikessurveys.org/uk.asp
-------------------------------------------------

> Earn Over 600 Per Month
> Get Paid To Shop Earn Up To 25% Cashback Per Purchase
>Get Paid When You Complete Surveys
www.greasypalm.co.uk
----------------------------------------------------

Are they really true about what they are saying?
I never tried to join companies like them before, in mind I was
thinking it was something like Multi-level-Marketing kind of thing.

Any body joined and earning from people like them..please share
your points...

Thanks...

The only people making the promised money are the owners of these sites. All you can get at best is pennies. My advice: stay away.

They are a con as php_daemon says the only person who is going to make any money out of this is the owner of the site. These types of adverts usually ask for all sorts of contact details which are then sold on.

The ones that learn by reading.
The few who learn by observation.

They work about 10% of the time for the person advertising them. They work about 1% of the time for people reading the ad because they have most likely already missed out on the opportunity to get into it early enough to make anything from it.

I have a serious aversion for this kind of sites and their owners. They're in the same category as snake-oil salesmen.

you mean snake oils fake?! damn!

The wife participates in surveys and does about 3-4 a week. It's going to be a tight christmas this year!

She gets anything from 50p - £1 per survey which does mount up over a few years.....

Like everybody said, the only ones who are gaining from this is the early ones who are already there at the top, the ones who have thought of the idea. All you would do by entertaining them is waste your time.

It does depend which type of surveys you do. Joking aside, the wife does surveys for government departments, shops and television which are legit.

If you happen to have an interest in a niche in the web where there also happen to be decent and honest affiliate programs you can make money that way. Don't fall for the cons.

My wife does the surveys as well and gets paid about $5 a survey, she doesn't do it for the money, she just likes to know what new products the big food companies are coming out with before anyone else does and the free samples that she has to try before completing the survey are kinda cool too.

There are legit companies out there. You need to check sites like www.wahm.com. They review work at home companies like these and have a good community of women that share alot of informaiton about companies they have tried. You can learn which ones are working best and are legit. They also have a big list of legit companies that you can join. Even though they are geared toward women, anyone can join these type of companies.

If you like direct sales, check my sig. I make good money from it.

Yes, if you are skilled in sales.
Secondary to that, you will need a product (preferably your own) that supplies a demand. And that my friend, requires second sight.

Also, do your part and don't litter the internet with direct links to that crap.

haha

on topic: I wouldn't ever trust a site like this, mainly because they all spend about 100,000 pixels of space telling how reliable they are over and over again...
