Help me with my Page navigation URL

My current page navigation is like :
    First Previous [ 1 2 3 4 5 of 15 ] Next Last

    Code:
My current URL when on first page is showing:
    http://www.domain.com/advsearch.php

But when I clink on 2/3/4 page or next page then my URL shown like:
    http://www.domain.com/advsearch.php?s_added_date=&s_category_id=&s_description=&s_platform=&s_title=&s_type=&FormAdvancedSearch_Page=3#AdvancedSearch
Its working OK but I don't like to show this type of long URL to user.

Please help me to make my navigation page URL like:
    http://www.domain.com/advsearch.php?page=2
    http://www.domain.com/advsearch.php?page=3
I have attached my "advsearch.php" file as "advsearch.txt" file

    Thanks in advance

I believe one possible way to do it, is to do a mod_rewrite in the .htaccess file that is in the root directory of whatever folder has all these files.

    Might be of help.

Actually you'll need to set the description, category etc in a session, and you can then append the url differently.

Mod_Rewrite can't help if you need the extra info.
