    Question absolute positioning

    Hello,

I have the following splash page that needs some absolute positioning:

    http://dieselnewavejournal.com/sample.jpg

Everything will be an image except all text...text needs to be all in css and image positioning.

How could I accomplish this with aboslute positioning? or is there a better way?

    Thanks,

    Regards.

If the main graphic is a background to a centered container, then all the various text boxes can be positioned using floats and margins with no need for absolute positioning. The down side to trying to line up text to a composite background graphic is the layout breaking when users resize the text ..... although, judging by the obviously edited portions of your graphic, reading text may not be the main priority for visitors ...........

thank you for the response, although the text may not be the center of attention, it is very important on the page....how would the abosolute positioning look like in this case?
