Search Program

Hi,

I run a community website Cuffe Parade Online at http://www.cuffeparade.com
I am looking for a nice and simple search utility which would find the "words"
and "phrases" from html and shtml files.

Please suggest me some simple to install program since I am not an expert with
CGI/Perl and such things.

You could always use a web-based search program, like Freefind ( www.freefind.com ) or Searchbutton ( www.searchbutton.com ) but they put ads and a link back to their site on the search results page. Personally, I use Freefind and it spiders the site automatically if you set it that way, so you don't have to be constantly updating your own program if you use it. www.xav.com has a nice site search script. you can also look at http://www.cgi-resources.com for other search programs.
