    short php question :)

I've been trying to create a script to upload files..but well I never succeeded (my files just wont upload )..anyways someone told me it could be that my webspace provider doesn't allow file uploads (with php that is).

So I checked the settings and it said:

file_uploads: no value (both local and master value)

So hmm what does that mean? Is it on or off?

If it's off...there's noway I will be able to upload files?

You create a file named .htaccess and put it in your current directory that contains your script. In this file add this line:

    php_flag file_uploads on

It will override the one in php.ini

search for htaccess in this forum to see how peole use it.

If they are using Apache the answer is probably yes to .htaccess!
