    Unhappy Absolute Beginner!

    Hi,

I am completely new to Ruby. I know actionscript, html, css etc but have no programming knowledge of anything else.

I have Ruby pre installed on my 10.4.10 mac but I simply have no idea where to start. I have read tutorials, looked at Terminal etc but I really need some kind of complete beginners guide - can anyone point me in the right direction?

Are you trying to learn Ruby or Rails? They are not the same thing.
