    Angry I'm going crazy; all browsers but FF make me mad

    What I'm trying to do:
    A simple pop up window.

    It works with FF.

    When I try to open the pop up in Internet Explorer / Opera, it opens in a new tab.

    How can I change it to open in a new window instead? THANKS in advance to your hasty response!

    What code are you using at the minute?
    Most scripts open new window not another tab!

    Code:
    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">

    <!-- Begin
    function popUp(URL) {
    day = new Date();
    id = day.getTime();
    eval("page" + id + " = window.open(URL, '" + id + "', 'toolbar=0,scrollbars=0,location=0,statusbar=0,menubar=0,resizable=0,width=300,height=300,left = 570,top = 300');");
    }
    // End -->
    </script>

    <form>
    <input type=button value="pop" onClick="javascript:popUp('www.google.com')">
    </form>
    From http://javascript.internet.com/gener...up-window.html

    lol, yes you did!

    I just ran the code as is in Opera and it opened a new window.....!
    It might be the settings you have on Opera to open all new windows in a tab rather than a window.

    Im more concerned about IE just because it is more widely used. + I am pretty sure I set my Opera to do that on purpose.

    Well, it seems that I don't need the pop ups anymore, @#&#37;@#$%, the tabs are good enough or better.
