    Urgent help searching some stupid error in HTML

    I have this page:

    http://legaliza-te.com/erro.html

    It works fine in Firefox, but in Internet Explorer when i press the submit button (The one that says "Adicionar", that means "To add" in English), the form doesnt submit at all!!

    I'm looking for the error for 3 days! And i cant find it out!
    The submit button is inside the form i think, so there should be no errors submiting!

    1st of all i want to thank microsoft for build such an amazing browser.

    Please help me finding out this stupid bug.

    wow.. here's the first handful of lines for that page -
    Code:
    <head>
    <title>Legaliza-te.com</title>
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"
       "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" >
    your doctype tag is in completely the wrong place and you have no opening html tag.. there's a lot more wrong with this page than just the form.

    I suggest you go over to the HTML forum and ask there.

    It says "Sorry! This document can not be checked."

    Is the <html> tag really necessary?

    DOCTYPE is the very fist line of your document otherwise the browser wont know what to do with it
    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"
       "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Legaliza-te.com</title>

    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" >

    </head>

    <body>

    </body>
    </html>

    Give your forms names, I have noticed sometimes that IE doesnt like it if you dont name them.

    there are quite a few forms on the page so it might be something to do as a matter of routine as well
