Thumbs up Raising CTR for 500%

Hey there

I have 10 sites with myspace layouts, my CTR has always been arround 4% and I know i should have atleast 20% in this niche..

What do you guys suggest?

<snip>

you can take a look and suggest me best positions..

Does anyone knows something about eCPM or how to get more for one click or that new thing where you can add keywords to your adsense code for more related ads? Do you think this would work better?

take care

Welcome to SitePoint!

Sorry but I had to edit your post because ad integration and placement reviews are not allowed in this forum. At SitePoint all website reviews must go in the Website Review forum. Make sure you read the guidelines before submitting your site as we have rules that apply to site reviews that you'll need to know before you submit your site.

I must ask but why do you believe you should be getting a 20% CTR in this niche? That sounds awfully high for any niche.

20% is the normal ctr I get.
It all depends on your placement and colors.
good luck

My buddy got 120% CTR but he quit clicking on his own ads, and his % went down.

How exactly does one get 100+% CTR? By clicking on the same ad twice when it only loaded once? I didn't think Google even logged them as being separate clicks...

The google TOS forbid webmasters to click on their own ads. I'm surprised they haven't yet banned his backside from the system.

I'd like to know that too? 4% ctr is pretting good and 10% is sweet.

You should shoot for 10%, 20% and more is risky.

4% ctr is pretting good. I was getting that but now I'm lucky to get 1%

It could be that returning vistors are bookmarking the sites and aren't interested in the ads?

10%-15% is golden middle, with such CTR you'll get pretty much and you won't be suspicious for Google with that cTR

I have 0.25% CTR so your 4% CTR is 16 times better than mine...
