    font question

Please describe me how to put a true type font into a flash movie.

'Cause I've copied a ttf into the windows/fonts directory and i've expected to select it after that from the flash fonts list... Didn't appeared...??
    Thanks.

You need to go to your Control panel, Select the fonts icon, then fo File >> Install New Font to actually install the font and have it available in your applications.

Yup, having a font file sitting on your system is different to installing a font and i hope they don't change that. I've got hundreds of fonts on my system but only install the ones I'm currently working on so I don't have to trawl through hundreds of fonts in my design applications.

i'm using win98 as well and all i do to install a font is drag and drop the .ttf files into my fonts folder located in the windows directory. i've never used the control panel method of installing a font and all my fonts are available in all my programs...
