    Why would you want to?

Making a dropdown with tables is not very semantical and doing it without using CSS is pointless I think. Anyhows, cssPlay.co.uk has a whole bunch of dropdowns which use tables to create menus in older versions of IE, they still use CSS though.

I suggest looking into SuckerFish dropdowns instead. They don't use tables but do use CSS and need teeny bit of javascript to make them work in older browsers.

Erm, probably, but I can't be bothered figuring out how. Using tables for your dropdown is generally not a good idea. Most people use unordered or definition lists for that. Have a look at the menus on cssPlay.co.uk, there's a whole heap on there and hopefully you will be able to find something useful.

I suspect you are missing the point of CSS. Perhaps try googling for some basic information on what CSS is and why you would want to use it.

    Off Topic:

Mods: you may want to move this post to the CSS forum as it's not really a JavaScript question.
