    Need some help with CSS

    Here is the link:
    http://www.jberradesign.com/clients/...ive/other.html

    In additional to what I have here, I would like to place text in the white area. I have been attempting and playing with padding (I don't want the text too close to the edge, but when I play with padding, etc, it is effecting the image in the lower right hand corner.

    Any suggestions. I am fairly new to css.

    Hi,

    Just apply your padding to the inner elements. If that's awkward then just nes a div inside and apply the pading to that.

    e.g.
    Code:
    .inner{padding:21px;}
    Code:
        <table border="0" align="left" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="header">
            <!--DWLayoutDefaultTable-->
            <tr>
                <td height="58" class="header">TAKE IT SERIOUSLY </td>
            </tr>
        </table>
        <div id="center" class="bodytext">
            <div class="inner">
                <p>Apply your padding to an inner element intead.</p>
            </div>
            <img class="whiteboxpicture" src="http://www.jberradesign.com/clients/fivealive/images/smbox1.jpg" alt="smbox1" width="148" height="91" /></div>
        <div class="smheader">TAKE IT SERIOUSLY </div>
        <br />
    </div>
