Just want to know if someone have ever paid Yahoo to be indexed?
They offer this strange service for commercial sites: pay $199 and we will review your site within a week. Fanny thing: no money back if they refuse to list you.
Have someone ever used this service? Any comments?
Hi, i've used the service before. It 's definitely worth the $200 bucks. Yahoo! takes forever to review sites, and this service guarantees review within a week.
Make sure, however, that you are ready to submit. Your site should have an address (city and state), no "construction" signs and be fully functional.
It's good if it contains some quality content.
Good luck.
Think about this: Yahoo! does not guarantee you they going to list your site. So if I were you I would pay only if want to be indexed quickly. Think it twice!
Pay $199 and you may not be indexed by Yahoo. That sounds like bad deal. Anyway, if you sign up with ProBoost.com which does website optimization, their experts will personally analyse your site and submit it to search engines. Any problems you find with your submission, there is always live help (live chat and telephone) available. Besides Yahoo, they also submit your site to all major search engines and many other smaller one.

I think it's only worth it if you have plenty to spend on site promotion. I have only gotten one site directly listed in Yahoo. Others have shown up on their own over time, but this is the only one where I ever got "the e-mail" from them saying we were in. That took less than a week and was only recently. I think that it was because it fit well into one of their lowest categories. That seems to be key with them.
