    JavaScript Namespace – IE7 says Not Implemented

    Hello

    I am having an issue with adding namespaces to my JavaScript. When I run this code in FireFox everything works fine. When I run this code in IE7, I get and error saying “Not Implemented”. It is pointing to the line of code where I Instaniate the object (testNameSpace.menu = new js.JavaScriptCodeIsHere(); ). Does anyone know why this works in FireFox but IE7 tells me I have not implemented something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Code:
    <script language="JavaScript">
    	var testNameSpace = {};

    testNameSpace.build = function(obj, event)
    	{
    	   alert("Here");

             //-- Instaniate object
             testNameSpace.menu = new js.JavaScriptCodeIsHere();

             alert("Here 2");
          }

    </script>

    Hmm... this code doesn't make any sense. Please post a concise but compete example that doesn't work in IE.

    Thank you for the response and I apologize for the delay in my response. This problem was due to a JavaScript statement located inside of JavaScriptCodeIsHere(). The statement worked in FireFox but did not work in IE which is what caused the "Not Implemented" message. I wish IE would give better JavaScript error messages. For FireFox, all I have to do is type JavaScript: in the URL line and it gives me a pretty helpful JavaScript error message.
