how do I do this?
hello,
not sure if this is the correct forum for this....go to SP marketplace section and view any auction having attachments. click on those attachments and you will see what I mean. for example, take a look at this:
http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/15131
you will see that the attachment opens up in the same window. I think it's ajax or something. can someone point me in the right direction on how to achieve this?

They use the same thing on the Articles when displaying an image. It isn't flawless (e.g. scroll down), but I think it's some pretty good coding. I could never make any sense out of it anyway.
Yes, I think it is AJAX, but 99% of the display is the CSS effects.Jake Arkinstall

It's a lightbox type thing. It's not AJAX.
