Any recommendations on thinking up domain names?

I want something uber short and snappy for a gambling website I'm going creating (covers casino, poker, bingo and the like) but can't think of anything suitable at all.

I thought something like 'Gambl' sounded pretty neat, but it's obviously already taken so not ideal

You could choose popular prefixes and suffixes like, igamb or gamblr, and play around until you find one that isn't taken

Hehe good shout, cheers! I actually thought gamblr would be perfect, but that's taken too, igambl isn't bad actually, cheers... I'll definitely give that some thought!

    At the moment, it's either:

    ugambl.com
    igambl.com
    gambrls.com

None of which particularly stand out I think, but are alright

Hmm, problem is, gamblr sounds awesome, gamblrs is just one too many things and it sounds lame.

Any more please? I do like iGambl, but it sounds like an Apple rip off a bit, hehe.

The apple connotation is just what I was getting at with 'popular' its a shame gamblr is taken. Still, you really have to compromise these days where domain names are concerned. Good luck with your search

Yup, seems anything reasonable is already taken, gamblr would of been perfect, I'm kind of tempted to go with a .info domain name, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea with a casino site.

... the really annoying thing is that there is no site at gamblr.net, .co.uk or .com - just placeholder sites, grr.

well you can't find short domains available right now. but maybe something like this could be useful: icangamb.com | gamblerz.com | gamb-it.com

Many thanks again guys, unfportunately a few of those are taken, probably my favourite is still gogambl.com - although I'm worried people will think it's just a general rogue casino site thing trying to catch people out with a misspelt word, if that makes sense?

Any plays on the gambling directory thing? That's all it's going to be essentially, a comprehensive listing of casino sites, poker sites, bingo, sports betting etc...
