Need to transfer form data to other pages

I have a form that customers fill out.

2 pages later, they get to another form.

Now... some of the fields are identical, and I do not want the customer to fill it out twice.

How do I capture only some fields with the first form into a cookie or something (I have no idea about this), and once the visitor gets to the other form make it automatically pre-fill?

Sessions are best for this. Check this out for a starter.

Whatever environment your pages are working in will have a similar feature (PHP, ASP, .NET, etc.)

If you want/need this to function entirely client-side (not a good idea for someone which JavaScript disabled), then look at JavaScript setting and reading Cookies.
