    Question CSS - NN4+ & 6+ ignores my CSS

    Hi
    I'm using CSS to define the size of my fonts. This works fine in IE but just gets ignored in NN.

    The script I'm using is:

    <STYLE TYPE="text/css">
    <!--
    PRE { font-size: 10pt; }
    td { font-size: 10pt }
    -->
    </STYLE>

    Is there away to get this to work across the board (IE NN4+ NN6+) or am I going to have to use a sniffer and seperate webpages?

    I've read a few postings simiular to this one but can't find the answer. Hope someone can help.

    Neil

    You might have more consistent results using px instead of pt's.

    or put single quotes around the values
    PRE { font-size: '10pt'; }

    if this is the actual code you are missing the semi-colon for td {font-size: 10pt )

    Thanks for the tip for using px instead of pt.

    Using px instead of pt has made a difference to how NN4+ behaves. Instead of dramatically adjusting the text size on command (Ctrl + [ or ]) it adjusts it by a scale of 1 pixel larger or smaller - which I can live with

    However NN6+ still behaves the same i.e. grabbing the whole text and adjusts it by a percentage as requested by View -> text size...

    Tried putting single quotes around the values i.e. '10pt' but unfortunately NN still ignored it.
    Thanks anyway

    Yeh sorry a typo, no semi-colon for td
    Thanks

    So then, still got probs with my NN6+ (4.7 can live with {i think!!}). Welcome all suggestions

    I don't know if this helps. Go for an external CSS, I had the same prob and an external CSS solved it for me. Don't ask me how :-). Still digging for answers and ending with more questions. Best of luck.
