    Photoshop 7's Auto Color command

Hi, has anyone used Photoshop 7's Auto Color command? I little bit ago I posted a question about "homogenizing" a bunch of product photographs so that they all "match" as far as color, contrast, and brightness. Basically, the overall look of the images. It sounds like Auto Color might be exactly what I was looking for. What do you think? Thanks!

just found some info on it so came back.

    Auto color
The Auto Color option is just a shortcut for what is available in the Levels and Curves dialog box. In either one of those areas, you can click on the Options button to find the above dialog box. It attempts to find the highlight and shadow areas of an image and to change their colors to what is listed at the bottom of the dialog box—in effect trying to color correct the image.

Yup, same as Auto Levels, except for colours... As with Levels though, it tends to make images rather muted in both colour and tone

Would Auto Color be for only color adjustments or brightness and contrast too?
