color selection
can anyone suggest a complimentary color selection to match the color on the link?

Try a darker blue or purple -- they usually work well with light yellow to me. It's also dependent on what look you're going for, too.
You may also want to check out The Color Schemer. :-)

Personally, I like a nice green, quite dark, but low green saturation...kinda subtle.

And I found it by accident!
I have a few other color schemers bookmarked (including one in my link bar, and this new one also there) and was searching for hardcopy color schemers to be able to take with a client. Found some swatch books, a few color cards, and a nice looking color wheel (that I might end up ordering), and also the above site.
