Newbie questions about menus in CSS

    Hi there,

How do you deal with a website that has many pages and then the client ask to change something in the menu (either removing or changing the text of one button) ?

Is there a way to do menus that are controlled by CSS so if I need to change one button, it will be changed on every pages in the site?

Anyone can point me a good tutorial where I can create complete CSS menus either all text menu or image base menus.

    Thanks,
    Caroline

CSS only controls presentation, it cannot alter the content (except in some special circumstances).

What you need is server-side includes (SSI) or a server-side scripting or programming language like PHP, that allows you to include common things like a menu. That way you only need to change the menu in one location, just like you can change the presentation from a single CSS style sheet.
