    Generate mailing labels from database

I need some help figuring out the best way to go about creating mailing labels from a php script. I am working on an application that needs to be able to export labels in an Avery format. What is the best way to do this? Create a pdf with all the labels? Create a csv file and export into excel? Any input and suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Another option would be to install the ODBC driver and connector from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/3.51.html (assuming your using a MySQL db).

You can then just do a mailmerge in Word by connecting it to your online DB.

I use the script from fpdf.org with a modified version of the labels extension from the scripts section on the site (to add the Avery label format I wanted)to convert directly from entries in a mySQL database into a PDF that can be direclty printed onto the labels - no other programs required, just a straight print from the generated page onto the labels.
