    Son Of Suckerfish Problems In IE

    So I've hacked at the son of suckerfish drop down script. I copy and pasted the original script, and then just added some sprites rollover states. The menu works great in anything but IE (any versions).

    Link: link removed, problem solved.

    I don't think it has anything to do with my rollover states, as when I had originally copy and pasted it, the script did not work in IE. I figured it was something small and I'd come back and fix it.

    In firefox, with firebug enabled, I get this javascript syntax error:

    Code JavaScript:
     var sfEls = document.getElementById("nav").getElementsByTagName("LI");\n

    However, I copy and pasted the JS from the website.

    Any thoughts?

    remove your script tags from the js file.

    JS files should never contain

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    or
    </script>

    Doh, something so silly that was staring me in the face and I didn't even realize! Thanks for pointing out the obvious.
