How can i run large Movie File?

    Hi all,
I have 220 MB movie file(avseq.DAT) for 22 Minutes. But in here locally it is runnning perfectly. But in remote server it will not running.
I think it is for networking speed problem.
So Is There any way to reduce file from DAT to FLV or anything and can see the video in remote.
    Thanks
    Ujjwal

that's because a DAT file is typically a data file - not a specific movie file.

yeah, probably you will have to convert the dat files to a movie file ... if you want to do manually, nero / roxio might give you a way. Or, there must be many video conversion freewares. for other online conversions, there's ffmpeg, but I'm yet to figure out how it works. But I thought you are an ASP developer Ujjwal, you had a post in the asp forum regarding this, ... or may be I am mistaking.

22 min, FLV will give around 80MB good quality video.

I would suggest that you look into streaming software.

Noone in their right mind would consider serving movies without it.
