    IE stops parsing XMLHTTP objects

Hey, I'm having a problem with a script I'm writing. The idea is to created a series of selects using ajax to populate them. It's a hierarchical id/parentId/category style thing. It's pretty close to working in FireFox (a few minor issues to work out) but IE is refusing to parse the xml object after it's done it the first time. The request works, but getElementsByTagName('category') returns an empty list, when it should return more than that.

Demo and code is here: ***GONE***

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems I've fixed it. In moojax.js I had to set the xmlhttp onreadystatechange function AFTER I've called the open method. Don't see why that would make a difference, but apparently it does.

Your executing the code and then telling it after what to do with the response. Thats like trying to drive a car before putting fuel in (before you say anything, the tank is empty ).
