I purchased a country TLD for SEO purposes, since my hosting is in the US and my target market is in Singapore. However, I'm not sure of the best way to implement it. Do I redirect country TLD to .com version or vice versa? the .com domain is a few years old, and has already been indexed.
a) Host the website in Singapore if possible, this is the best way to target a specific audience.
b) 301 redirect the .com version to the Signapore extension, cheaper option especially since you have already purchased the Signapore extension!
A note of caution with B, if done incorrectly you can be extremely penalised in the search engines, duplicate content issues and much more!
