    Do you want to show them special way? or just open in the browser?

    Standard way is with a link;

    <a href="pdfs/mypdf.pdf">My pdf title</a>'

    The ability to read PDF files in a browser is done using a client side API. Some browsers don't support these API's and simply download the file and open it up in the PDF program. If you are looking to show part of a file or extract text from one there really is no way to do it. There may be some obscure server side technology that allows you to do it (for example Google caches HTML versions of PDF files) but I suspect it wouldn't be easy to use.

    The easiest way is to link to the file and let the client's Adobe Acrobat program take it from there...

    well, it seems I am lost with my crazy idea.

    Sylow, twistie and Mholm59:
    Thanks for your generous help and advice.

    yes, I have a link (on the client side) , but I don't know how fill it with a file's name which it is in a directory on the server side. Besides, I pretend that the client selects that file from the files on such directory on the server.

    am I ambiguos? . sorry.

    that is my need.
