    CSS Footer Problem

    Hey Community,

    I am having a little problem with my footer in Firefox, and I am hoping someone might have an easy solution. Here is the link:
    http://diablovalleydesign.com/astr-10/

    I am using Javascript to hide the lists (expandable lists) and, in firefox 2, the footer seems to think that the list is expanded... so it shows up really far down the page. I noticed that when I click on the footer it flies (floats) to where it's supposed to be, and, ironically, the footer displays correctly in IE. Any help to resolve my "Firefox footer" issue would be great!

    Please let me know if there is any additional info needed.

    Thanks,
    Orion

    Hi,

    Because you bumped your own thread (which is against the guidelines anyway) you are less likely to get an answer because people will think that your question has been answered and look at threads with no responses instead.

    Try not floating the footer and putting the margin bottom on the commentform instead.

    e.g.

    Code:
    #footer {
    border-top: solid;
    border-width: 1px;
    width: 600px;
    clear:both;
    text-align: center;
    padding: 8px 0px 30px 0px;
    margin: 0px 40px 0px 20px;
    }
    #commentform{margin-bottom:30px;}
    That seems to fix it for me

    Paul, thank you for replying to my thread despite my unjustified ignorance, I should of read the terms/rules of the forum more closely, so I will not bump my threads on this forum again.

    Your fix worked for me too. Thank you very much! Your awesome.
