Using login/session from site to 3rd Party forum.

    Hi all,

I'm trying to find a forum/message board to add to a site that already has a member login. I'm having a hard time finding documentation on anything that allows using an established session or login info to use to access the forum.

Basically, I don't want the user to have to log in twice. I'm currently looking in to phpBB and SimpleMachines Forum, but am not seeing how to go about "bridging" my site and the forum together to use the same login.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

    Thanks!
    Clint

There is none out there. You will have to customize them to suit your needs.

When you say customize, do you mean I'll have to edit the source code to allow for that type of functionality?
