fluid centered coloumn

Hi all

I made a fixed layout but now i want to put more text to the middle div with pushing the rest of the page regulary,
how can i convert the middle div to a liquid ..
is a liquid is the right solution anyway?

here is the css i am using for the main 3 divs below the header
