    Need Suggetions!!!

    Hi,
I want to built a video website like Ytube.I have planned everything properly but I dont have any idea how to built the "Rating System" used to rate the videos and also a "post comment" and "show comment" option.
I wonder that can it be achieved by simply javascript,if not please suggest what is the proper technical way to go for it and if possible please suggest any site or link where building of these things are described in details since I am not that good in scripting. Thanks for your help.

You can't store any informationn collected from your visitors without having some server side processing in place to handle it. At best JavaScript will be able to enhance the page functionality but the bulk of the work will need to be done server side.
