Is it me or has SPF gone really busy.
There's loads signed in and many more as guests. Any reasons why (besides being the best forum on the planet)?

I noticed that too?
Super loads of people...Though, the forums seems business as usual. Anyway we might beat the best total of users online from Nov 2004, (is that right?)

Yep We've just crossed the milestone of 200,000 members yesterday and look how many new members have joined after that!!!!
As for the reasons I am not sure... but probably the books read during summer had their effect![]()
Maybe sitepoint sent an email out to old users of the contests to create awareness about the contests beta.

Ah right, but still I've been on (not lately) nearly a whole day and not seen as many on.
Still, if the word has been getting out and have you been in the press, etc... then I'm not surprised the forum is getting busier. About time as it's nice to see new faces and I bet it makes it worth more the while for all the hard work everyone has contributed to SPF.![]()
