    centering horizontal menu

I'm working on a site for a customer, and I'm having problems with my horizontal menu ... I've been successful in making everything fluid so that no matter what browser one uses, it scales appropriately.

However, in IE, the horizontal menu is centered ... though I would have liked it to be the same width as the banner in the header, but I can live with it not being th same width ...

Now, in Firefox, the horizontal menu is not centered ... it's at the left and no matter what I've tried, it won't budge from the left hand position ...

Does somebody know a way that I can get this menu to center and still remain fluid and standards compliant?

Thanks in advance for your help ...

Here is the template, so you can see what I'm talking about ...

You've got worse problems than your menu not centering unfortunately.

Have a look at your site without JavaScript on for example? You'll see no header and no way to navigate.

Create the page using semantic markup. I'd personally use an <img> for your header or at least provide an alternative for users without flash.

Use <ul>'s for your navigation and use <p> for your paragraphs.

    Glad you appreciate the input

I'm always more than willing to give people advice if they're willing to learn but more often than not people dismiss advice and just want a quick and dirty fix.

If there's anything you're not sure on please post away with any questions as there's plenty of other people that are willing to offer advice and support.
