Hi, i just added discussion forums to my site but i'm having a hard time getting people to use them even though i have over 700 unique visitors a day. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try posting a controversial opinion or question, and then tell everybody about it (on your front page, newsletters, etc). People will come from miles around to have their say if the topic is interesting - get a good heated debate going. That should start the messages flooding in.

I'm having a similar problem with my site dedicated to protecting motorcyclists' rights. I'm about ready to give up trying!

yeah, usually i can't get people to stop talking but now i cant get them to start. strange how that works.
