It is definitely Zapfino or some variation on it. The lowercase f has a couple of alternates so it may automatically replace one of them with an alternate, but it is definitely there. The font was a default on Mac systems a while back so I wouldn't imagine it is too hard to track down a copy.

As far as I can see, there is no actual font specified for that, just a generic sans serif. That would make sense, as it looks different on my machine to your screen capture. (My "t" doesn't have the angled top, for a start.) If that screen capture came from your own machine, try looking to see what the default sans serif font is for your browser.

I'm using Firefox on Linux, so the details may vary, but under Edit > Preferences there's a dialogue box with various tabs. Under "Content" there's a setting for default font, and if you click the "Advanced" button, there's settings for serif, sans serif, monospace etc.

It's not obvious from a first look, but they are using @font-face and calling the font "customFont" ... probably so that if they change the font they don't have to change the name. But if you look at the @font-face CSS, the font they are using is Titillium, a rather nice font that you can get for free from FontSquirrel:

It certainly wasn't obvious - I couldn't find anything either with Firebug or the Webmaster Toolbar "View CSS". And I was looking for @font-face, too. That's what I get for doing these things when I'm muzzy-headed with a bug. Well done, ralph.m.

If all else fails, go directly to the style sheet and search for @font-face. It can't hide from you in there.

Yes, but the suggestions given were nothing close to these. I'm hoping someone might recognize them just by mere sight.

They're tough but fall into the broad categories of Comic, Bouncy etc. You should be able to find a replacement here, you could replace the bouncy with caps for the first example. Unfortunately these sorts of fonts are not distinct enough for me to remember them. They fall into the one-time use sort of category and are replaceable by similar ones.

I was able to find a couple of "looks close enough" fonts from dafont.com.

Thanks for that link - lots of nice fonts there I could consider for future use. I wish they were free though

PS: We have a whole thread for this over here.

I've asked a mod to move your post for you, just to keep things neat in the forums.

hmm, That may well be a custom-made graphic, rather than something they typed. I'm guessing because the Os are different in "Lost World", and "Tiger" sort of looks like it was drawn out and scanned. The "Valley" and "of Tambum" may be typefaces.

Is there anyway you could get in contact with who designed this logo for your client? That may be the fastest and safest way.

Given that different countries often use different intro graphics, could you screenshot it or provide a web example so we can help without guessing. Cheers.

    Hi

Can you help me and recognize this font? I've tried to check it on myfonts.com but this page can't recognize it properly.
