The font is Myriad Condensed Semi Bold. It's standard on Macs, but if you're a Windows user, you can purchase it at FontShop.

It would require going through the long list of handwritten fonts and comparing with your original image side-by-side. I'm afraid no other method would work.

Dang it, I should never have looked at that font. Now I've got the dreaded mental background font search on. I know I've seen the font before. Is it a Comic based font like they use in Comic Life? Guess I will be forced to check when I get home.

It's similar to DIN and News Gothic (both Bold), but "S" is slightly different.

Since this glyph is a part of a logo, I strongly doubt whether it is a plain font. More likely it is a custom design character.

I'd agree with Varelse, I've not seen anything like it that was part of a standard font. But it would be pretty easy to make using a standard font as a starting point. My guess is custom design also.

Check out dafont and whatthefont. Many companies have custom fonts, so they'll be difficult to find. You may have to pay to recreate it.

Try again, but this time upload the bold and the thin words separately - start with the thin one.
I tried and succeeded, so it should work for you too.

Tell you what...I didn't click on WTF link before and clicked on someother font identifying service. I dont know remember which one but I got that link off a thread here and that gave me a list of 30 odd lists fonts after asking me a series of font identifying questions.

WTF worked perfectly and I've identified the fonts.

There is no image, can you please send me a copy via PM to upload as I don't think your forum privelages allow you to post links just yet (I think it is 10 posts before this is allowed)

Also note that while there are many great designers here on SitePoint, not all are typography buffs, and you might get an answer by using myfonts.com font finder.
