    Question Can't find it

Hey, I tried using the search by site methods but the picture I have doesn't include most of the letters that questions were asked about...

Does anyone know the following font? I actually made this myself a while back on an old pc and cannot remember the name of it.

    Thanks
    Dave

    Map Of You

I've used the method described in this article - How To Recognize A Font? - for separating the letters from background (see "Tips - WhatTheFont").

This is the sample I've uploaded to WhatTheFont:

    And WTF has recognized it

    Anyone recognize this font?

I was working on a new logo for somebody, and came across a font I couldn't identify. Does anyone happen to know what this font is or happen to have it? (Ignore the bevel effect...that's not part of the actual font)

    Thanks

I haven't found the exact match.
You can try and look through Script/Calligraphy category on DaFont.com (http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=601) - there are some similar fonts to choose from.

Sorry. Now that the image has been approved, I see that the Burberry wasn't the one I was thinking of

Check Data Control (digits only) & OCR-A - digits are almost identical.
As for the letters - I think I've seen different fonts used for card owner name used. Some of them were looking like this OCR-A font, some were less "computerish".

theindustry - this is probably DIN 1451 Mittelschrift.
DIN Regular is also similar (though there are differences in small details).

Tenacious_B - it looks like a quite standard, heavy/black font with inner lines added.
These lines don't look too well - just like they were added by a non-pro.

wwctw - for me WTF worked perfectly

Have you followed the tips explained in the How To Recognize A Font thread?
Here's how to prepare the image for WTF - Preparing the image for WhatTheFont.

This is the image I've uploaded for recognition:

And WTF did its work perfectly - Optima LT Demi Bold.

Preparing this image for upload took less than 1 minute

    I hope this helps.
