    A Problemo. Things Moving!

    Hey
    Could you tell me why my nav moves...

    http://www.tlclearningacademy.com/v2/contact.php

    it moves when you resize the page, im thinking its because of the absolute, but i couldnt sort it out using a float because of darn ie6.

    Any fixes welcome

    Hello,

    Because no width is defined - the menu will try and fit on screen.
    Code:
    .navigation {
    	margin: 0 0 0 318px;
    	background-color:#FFFFFF;
    	position:absolute;
    	top: 135px;
           width:505px;
    }
    It's not difficult to get this to work without absolute positioning, there's nothing left or right of it so your nav could just happily sit as any other block level element with the left padding you are wanting,
    then you could float the li and a items in the list left and walahh

    Use the web developer extension for firefox and outline block level elements
